Sports Club Redevelopment
Sense of Space have led the initial masterplanning and redevelopment of existing playing fields on the A65 Coutances Way on behalf of Ilkley Town Football Club, Ilkley Harriers and Ilkley Grammar School.
The new development includes a state of the art 3G all-weather football pitch and future phases include a compact athletics facility, enhancing the sports offering in the Wharfe Valley to young and old. Whilst existing grass pitches will be retained alongside, the addition of an all-weather pitch will more than double the existing playing capacity and provide the foundations for a football academy.

The completed football pitch is used all week by Ilkley Grammar School and by Ilkley Town AFC for training sessions in the evenings. At weekends the pitch provides the club with an exceptional playing surface that can be used all through the winter and is helping to have a positive impact on the various age groups performances.
