Weekly Architectural Clinic

Sense of Space have marked the New Year with a new initiative, intended to help local residents and business owners to get the most from their properties.

 

Started in January 2012, we have been holding a weekly Architectural Clinic, offering free advice to anyone who is looking to improve their home or build a new house. The service will also be available to owners of commercial property who are seeking to get the best from their investment.

 

As members of the Association of Self-Build Architects, Sense of Space also provided expert advice to members of the public during the recent Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Harrogate. Director, Iain Gibbons confirmed:

 

“Our involvement in the ‘Meet the Architect’ stand proved to be a great success and served to be the catalyst for our own Architectural Clinic. We are looking forward to welcoming new visitors to our Ilkley office in 2012.”

 

The weekly Architectural Clinic has been timed to coincide with the Law Clinic offered by neighbours, Ison Harrison, and will take place every Tuesday between 3pm – 5pm at the Ilkley office of Sense of Space at 50a The Grove. Initial free consultations of 30 minutes will be available and attendees are requested to reserve a time slot by calling Sense of Space on 01943 816 489.



Sense of Space at the Northern Design Awards

Sense of Space were recent finalists in the prestigious Northern Design Awards, having been shortlisted in both the Luxury Home and Eco Design categories.  The awards ceremony, held at the 5 star Lowry Hotel in Manchester, was attended by judges and celebrities from the world of design including Architect and TV presenter, George Clarke and garden designer, Diarmuid Gavin.
